Spaces Available in Tonight's Knitting 101

Now would be a great time for you kick start your knitting.  Our famous Knitting 101 class is for those who want to pick up knitting after a long lay-off or for absolute beginners. After four two-hour sessions you will have mastered all the fundamentals and completed a sampler scarf and be ready to move on beyond the scarf - how about a coat or jacket, maybe a felted bag, or perhaps socks?  Our next class starts tonight Thursday April 24th at 6:30pm.  Just show up at 6:30pm if you can make it.  We'll have everything you need to get you started.

Competitions ...

We know you like them, and we've always got cool prizes.  So go make your entry for our latest competition on our blog.  What was happening here at our neighbors at the Meeting Place on Third Street this morning ... give us your best shot, be it factual, scintillating, smart, sparkling, or witty  ... or any combination thereof.  We'll judge the best answers (our decision is final) and announce the prizewinners in the store on Mother's Day, May 11th.

Happy Knitting
