Knitters
of all ages and abilities are invited to come, with
their lawn chairs, knitting and lunch and sit in
front of the store, weather permitting, and knit.
We shall have some drawings and prizes for the event
and it will be wonderful for Geneva to see so many
knitters enjoying what they do best, but in public
for change. We will also have staff on hand to teach
beginners at 2pm and 3pm, so everyone is welcome.
Come and knit and earn a $20 Gift Card.
When you set up outside our store to knit in public
we will give you coupons to give away. Write
your name on the coupon and then give them to people
as they pass by or comment on your knitting.
If the person comes in to our store and buys
something with the coupon before the end of June
(they must be a NEW customer in our database) then
we will issue YOU an $5 Wool and Company Gift Card.
If three or more coupons are redeemed then we will
give you a bonus $5. A total of $20!
We are located
in the heart of Geneva's historic downtown shopping
district and directly across from the Post Office.
 Geneva has many festivals and events that bring our
streets alive throughout the year - join us for the
WWKiP. Come celebrate with us! Take Lincoln Highway
to downtown Geneva
or the Metra's Union Pacific West line from Chicago - we're a short walk from the Geneva
station.
This KIP is not knitting exclusive.
If the weather is bad we have space available
indoors. There are free bathrooms available nearby.
